Busy pollinators at 6th Ave

This week at 6th Ave we continued  last week’s insect lesson by studying pollinators. As students used a straw “proboscis” to gather nectar from paper flowers hidden in the garden, they spread pollen to all the other flowers. We then checked to see how many flowers recieved enough pollen to grow into fruit!
