This week we went to take a look at some new areas where gardens are in the works. McKinley Elementary is going to tear out some asphalt and bring in some nature for all the kids to enjoy.

Already where there is a beautiful garden area, Woodlawn Elementary students will start learning about urban agriculture in there own edible garden site.

On Thursday, January 5th, Tomas and Adrienne visited the site where the new Mckinley Avenue Elementary school garden will be.  We can’t wait to see how the beautiful lush garden transforms the school.

Plans are in the works to transform this spot on the Mckinley campus into a garden
