Blooming Wilton Place

Look at these beautiful blooming poppy flowers!

These seeds were sewn by Wilton Place students back in February and are providing such a lovely habitat for honeybees!  Bringing pollinators and other beneficial insects to the garden improves ALL the plants growing. Between each corner of flowers we have eggplants, onions, and two tomatoes.

Students helped trim the overgrown mint in the herb garden to make room for some summer goodies: watermelon, squash, and okra! We planted some sunflowers that will hopefully serve as a border between the established mint and the new seedlings.

Happy summer!
