We didn’t get a WHOLE lot of time after our initial Friends and Foes lesson to do some exploring in the garden, so the week after that first lesson we spent some serious time observing what friends and foes we had of our own.
Students took notes as they explored. Then we made a poster to keep track of what we saw!
Next we started a discussion on companion planting; what is means, what resources we have to understand companion planting, some examples; and then we looked at seed packets to see what we could add to our garden that would work with what we already have.
Next time we will continue our discussion on companion planting! And hopefully do some planting!
