Spirals in Lettuce | Sullivan

Today was a day for SPIRALS. Me and the kids read a really fantastic book called “Swirl by Swirl” that illustrates how we can find spirals in nature….


So then we looked for them in the GARDEN. This lettuce is a spiral!


And a tasty one at that! 😀


This cow pea vine climbing on the zinnia flower is a spiral!

See? Just open your eyes and spirals are ALL AROUND YOU.
