Roosevelt ESP volunteer workday success

50 UCLA volunteers as well as a number of students from the high school joined EnrichLA to give the Roosevelt HS of Environmental and Social Policy garden a big boost with new compost, mulch, tree pruning,  and a repaired irrigation system, and just in time for fall planting! Radish, carrots, cauliflower, and herbs have now joined the soil, accompanying the remainder of annual summer crops and many perennial gems. Students are participating in the garden through weekly classes and lunch garden club.
