Rainclouds Won’t Stop 6th Avenue

20150915_101819                                                                          Although it was pouring this morning, by the time our classes met, the rain had abated to a drizzle and the kids were thrilled to venture out into the muggy air.  After everyone has been away for summer, we have a lot of weeds to take care of, and the afternoon classes couldn’t wait to get to work! They cleared out entire beds on their own, carrying the weeds to the compost and planting a row of radish seed in their place. Whew! What hard workers!  As we water and weed them each week, we will be watching closely to see what happens.
