Milkweed for the Butterflies at LFCSA

May 15, 2017

Classes couldn’t make it to the garden today, so I was able to do lots of maintenance for the day. Pruned some basil flowers, spread a little mulch and made sure everything had a sign. Also planted a few seedlings including a Native California Milkweed.

Started to mulch the pathway! More mulch coming to the garden in the next few weeks!

Signs, signs and signs! Patiently waiting for the corn seeds that students planted the week before to come up!

Native California Milkweed planted with its new sign!

Peppers and tomatoes!

Shady part of one of the beds with some cool season veggies.

Trellis with a sign, added!
