It is salad time! Along with the bright green romaine leaves there is plenty of parsley, thyme, nasturtium leaves, and basil! The 4th and 5th grade classes indulged in this tasty salad. Garden class allows the students a chance to eat something fresh. We discussed the benefits of composting in our garden and ways that we can help the environment. The students had wonderful contributions to this lecture. We are truly growing as intellects!
