Removing asphalt for a garden at John Adams Middle School

Today 1,800 sq.ft. of asphalt are being remove from John Adams Middle School to make room for an edible garden. This campus PE field is a city block of asphalt, so a small but significant victory for greening our campuses.

EnrichLA teamed up with LAUSD’s Sustainable Yards and with TREE PEOPLE to achieve this goal. THANK YOU!

Volunteer Garden building day is October 8th. Please visit our VOLUNTEER PAGE to sign up, and/or our KICKSTARTER fundraiser page.
