With the glorious rain that we’re getting here in LA this week, Garden Ranger Ashley felt that it was the perfect time to teach a lesson about the water cycle. Glassell Park Elementary Students listened attentively to a water cycle presentation, and then they crafted and labelled the Earth’s water cycle all on their own!
Springtime in the Glassell Park garden has brought us our first nectarine harvest! They were way up high and tricky to pick, but Glassell Park’s plant manager Ms. Rosa helped out by providing a sturdy ladder. Thank you Ms. Rosa!
It’s the best feeling in the world to share healthy, school garden-grown produce with students and teachers. Yum!
