Glassell Park students learned all about butterflies and caterpillars with the help of a book titled A Butterfly Is Patient. We discussed that butterflies help plants reproduce by pollinating flowers, which then allows the plants to make seeds.
We were inspired by this book to draw our own beautiful butterflies.

Next, we made a very special snack! We created a caterpillar-shaped salad using tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and basil.
