This week at Glassell Park, students planted sugar snap pea seeds, and Ranger Ashley built a pea teepee for some pea seedlings to climb.
Students also enjoyed saving basil seeds to take home with them.
Basil seeds are very tiny, but these young seed savers were up for the challenge!
We look forward to watching our pea seeds and seedlings grow. In the meantime, there is so much beauty to discover in the Glassell Park garden.
Happy gardening and healthy eating,
-Garden Ranger Ashley
