El Sereno Elementary works the day away

A busy day at El Sereno Elementary had the students planting some summer flowers, amending their strawberry beds, and learning about good and not so good insects in the garden. The connection was made that insects that eat live healthy plants are not on our side, fortunately there are several other predatory insects that help keep the bad bugs in check. Fresh strawberries with mint was enjoyed by all.
