Interplanting, apples, and slime mold | Eagle Rock

Today at ERHS we planted squash and amended the beds with fresh compost. We snacked on fried garlic, carrots, cabbage, and swiss chard. Our interplanted beds of garlic and lettuce are doing well, and the 3 sisters are taking off! We have ripening apples on the trees. We also saw the infamous dog vomit slime mold in the mulch today!

I love gardening because I love good food and being outside.  The most delicous food is the food you grow yourself, and the best times in life are spent in nature.
