Last Day of School and Values on the Line

Today, the students had a chance to share and discuss their ideas on environmental issues facing current and future generations. I read statements and they responded with how much they agreed or disagreed with the statement on a scale of 1-10. After the lesson we had snacks that consisted of  popcorn and kumquats. The students shared with me what they liked best about coming to the garden. They responded with the 5-senses lesson, being outdoors, and learning about the unique characteristics of plants.
