Dahlia Heights

The school year is very busy at Dahlia Heights as all the classes get ready for graduation and end of year ceremonies. The sixth grade is just getting their time in the garden so we are working on their bed, which needs a lot of work! We weeded it today and will plant it out with summer vegetables or cover crops, and definitely more strawberries!

Here is the before and after…

One of the kindergarten classes planted basil seeds today in pots they decorated themselves. They will take them home once they sprout.

The wildflowers are looking beautiful, and there are cocoons hiding all over the garden. Every day I go a kid points one out to me!
