Sunflowers and last day at Clifford

Last Tuesday on May 2nd, was the last day of the current 6 week rotation. Since it was the last day, we did a quick review of what they have learned in the last 6 weeks in the garden. After, it was time for a fun activity, all classes planted sunflowers to take home in either pots that they made, milk cartons, cups and even a egg carton flat! Everybody learned that there are always different ways of reusing things and starting seeds in them! We ended with a salad mix, with strawberries and/or cherry tomatoes from the garden!
