Busy busy Bees!

Students at Clifford learned about pollination by bees. We did an activity using Cheetos (DID NOT EAT, of course) to symbolize pollen and cotton balls to symbolize nectar. Students grabbed cotton balls under a bowl Cheetos and came out with Cheetos cheese on their hands and placed it on a flower. This was suppose to help students understand how bees transfer pollen from flower to flower, while getting nectar.

The garden has been flourishing since the rain! Peppers are growing and my artichoke plant is getting bigger!
