For the last class of our six week series students learned all about the herbs in our garden.  We took a tour and learned to identify the lavender, mint, thyme, rosemary, and basil growing in the garden.  Many students already knew that herbs could be used to make tea, and thats exactly what we did! Each student got to customize their own tea bag and fill it with various dried herbs of their choosing from our garden.  The most popular combination of tea was lavender, ginger, mint, and lemon tea.  At the end of class everyone got to taste the yummy strawberries growing in the garden.
