Swiss chard, peppers, petunias, and scrambled egg slime mold

The garden is growing so quickly here at ASMSM. The swiss chard and peppers will be ready to begin harvesting soon. The 3 sisters bed is popping up-look for corn, beans, and squash this summer!
Also, we saw Fuligo Septica, the scrambled egg slime mold. It is very common in mulch. It is definitely not edible, but is important in biochemistry applications.

I love gardening because I love good food and being outside.  The most delicous food is the food you grow yourself, and the best times in life are spent in nature.
