Rainy Days Help Our Veggies Grow at 6th Ave

Although it was too rainy to have classes outside last week, all the water means we can turn off the irrigation and our plants are growing like crazy! The weather gave us a good intro to a lessson on water needs for all life and the Los Angeles drought. Our student were adorably happy to find out we could turn the water off on rainy days and are very excited to save their unused water to give the plants after lunch!
