Butterfly Love at 6th Ave Elementary

image

The students at 6th Ave are so excited about the spring flowers in our garden that they brought their very own project for this week: seeds for a butterfly garden! We spread out the seeds and added some dirt and compost that the students made last month. They  even shared some of their own water to help our flowers grow. By the end of the school year, we should have a brand new native butterfly habitat growing right next to our playground. What a wonderful surprise!
