Sixth Avenue is my fastest growing garden. And I believe it’s all because of a certain faculty member who faithfully waters the garden weekly. His name is Mr. Robert.
All of the kids at 6th Avenue know him and love him. Another faculty member suggested giving him a card of appreciation. So I thought, what a better way to say thank you than by having the kids make thank you cards?
We used fruits and vegetables as stamps to decorate our cards. Carrots, apples, mushrooms and celery!
The kids really enjoyed this activity and loved the different shapes that all the fruits/veges made on the paper! And of course, playing with paint 😉
